Nucleoside diphosphate kinase (NDK)는 A (NME1 유전자)와 B (NME2 유전자) 아이소폼으로 구성된 헥사머 형태로 존재합니다.
이 유전자의 돌연변이는 공격적인 신경모세포종에서 발견되었습니다.
두 가지 전사 변이가 서로 다른 아이소폼을 암호화하며, NME1과 NME2의 공동 전사는 두 단백질의 서열이 결합된 융합 단백질을 생성합니다.
