For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

cAMP is a key signaling molecule involved in various cellular processes. It activates cAMP-dependent protein kinase (AMPK), which phosphorylates target proteins to transmit signals. The inactive AMPK holoenzyme consists of two regulatory and two catalytic subunits. Upon cAMP binding, the holoenzyme dissociates into regulatory dimers bound to cAMP and free catalytic monomers. Humans express four regulatory and three catalytic AMPK subunits. The PRKAR2A protein encodes one of these regulatory subunits, which can be phosphorylated by active catalytic subunits and interact with A-kinase anchoring proteins to determine AMPK’s subcellular localization.
