Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

cAMP is a signaling molecule essential for various cellular functions. It activates the cAMP-dependent protein kinase (AMPK), which transduces signals through phosphorylation of target proteins. The inactive holoenzyme of AMPK consists of two regulatory and two catalytic subunits. Upon cAMP binding, the holoenzyme dissociates into regulatory dimers and free catalytic monomers.
The PRKAR2A gene encodes one of the regulatory subunits, which can be phosphorylated by the activated catalytic subunit and interacts with A-kinase anchoring proteins to determine subcellular localization of AMPK.
