Target Information
Aurora kinases associate with microtubules during chromosome movement and segregation. Aurora B (AURKB) localizes to microtubules near kinetochores, specifically to K-fibers, and functions in chromosome alignment, separation, histone modification, and cytokinesis.

Aurora B is overexpressed in several tumors, including breast and colon cancers, and may interact with Aurora-A kinase through feedback mechanisms.
