Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences are cloned from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates.
Advantages include:

  • Enhanced specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulation
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to large rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

Alpha Tubulin forms a heterodimer with beta Tubulin, each approximately 55 kDa in molecular weight. These heterodimers are the fundamental building blocks of microtubules, essential components of the eukaryotic cytoskeleton.
Microtubules provide structural support, facilitate intracellular transport, and play a key role in mitosis.
Multiple alpha and beta tubulin genes exist and are highly conserved among species. The alpha tubulin gene is similar to the mouse and rat Tuba1 gene, with expression predominantly in differentiated neuronal cells.
