Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of p73 only when phosphorylated at Thr86.
Target Information
P73 (TP73) participates in the apoptotic response to DNA damage. Isoforms containing the transactivation domain are pro-apoptotic, while isoforms lacking the domain are anti-apoptotic and can block the function of p53 and transactivating p73 isoforms. It may act as a tumor suppressor protein.
