Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human SCGF-alpha. Anti-Human SCGF-alpha-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human SCGF-alpha by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When used with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human SCGF-alpha (500-P162) as a capture antibody, detection sensitivity reaches 2000–4000 pg/mL of Recombinant Human SCGF-alpha.

Western Blot:
To detect Human SCGF-alpha by Western Blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL of this antibody. Detection limit for Recombinant Human SCGF-alpha is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the C-type lectin superfamily. The encoded protein is a secreted sulfated glycoprotein and functions as a growth factor for primitive hematopoietic progenitor cells. An alternative splice variant has been described but its biological nature has not been determined.
