The RM134L monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD252 (OX-40 Ligand), a TNF superfamily member. OX-40L is induced on mouse splenic B cells stimulated with anti-IgM and anti-CD40, but not expressed on resting or activated mouse T cells.
OX-40 (CD134) interaction with OX-40L is involved in T cell-dependent humoral response. RM134L inhibits costimulatory activity of mouse OX-40L transfected cells for anti-CD3-stimulated T cell proliferation.

Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes at ≤1.0 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimal dilution should be empirically determined.

Target Information
TNFSF4 (OX40 Ligand) is a type II membrane-bound, non-covalently linked homotrimeric protein expressed on antigen-presenting cells (dendritic cells, activated B cells), vascular endothelial cells, mast cells, and NK cells.
It signals through TNFRSF4 (OX40 receptor), mainly on CD4+ T cells and activated CD8+ T cells, functioning as a costimulatory signal enhancing proliferation, survival, and cytokine expression (RANTES, IL-2, IL-3, IFNγ).
TNFRSF4/TNFSF4 signaling is critical for immunotolerance.
