Target Information
c-Jun is a transcription factor that binds the enhancer motif 5'-TGA[CG]TCA-3'. It promotes NR5A1 activity when phosphorylated by HIPK3, increasing steroidogenic gene expression upon cAMP pathway stimulation. Also involved in KRAS-mediated activation of USP28 in colorectal cancer cells.
