Product Specific Information
This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Pig, and Dog.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal production clones.
Advantages include:
- Enhanced specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulation
- Broader immunoreactivity due to the rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
Raf-1 (c-Raf) is a MAP kinase kinase kinase (MAP3K) functioning downstream of Ras family GTPases. Once activated, Raf-1 phosphorylates MEK1 and MEK2, which subsequently activate ERK1 and ERK2. Activated ERKs regulate gene expression controlling cell division, apoptosis, differentiation, and migration.
Mutations in the c-Raf gene are associated with Noonan syndrome 5 and LEOPARD syndrome 2.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
