Target Information
APC10 is a conserved component of the anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin ligase that controls progression through mitosis and the G1 phase. APC/C degrades anaphase inhibitors, mitotic cyclins, and spindle-associated proteins, ensuring proper mitotic sequence. APC10 may regulate substrate binding to the APC/C complex, similar to coactivators.
