Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates.

Target Information
The DNA damage-binding protein from HeLa cells associates with polypeptides of 124,000 (DDB1) and 41,000 (DDB2) Da as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Research by Keeney et al. (1994) showed that purified human DDB protein injection into XPE cells helped test whether DNA-repair defects in certain XPE patients were due to DDB deficiency.
