Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They consist of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, providing both polyclonal-like sensitivity and monoclonal-like specificity, while ensuring batch-to-batch consistency.
Each Superclonal™ antibody contains a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, eliminating biological variability typical of polyclonal production.
Note: Formerly called “Recombinant polyclonal antibody”, now rebranded as “Recombinant Superclonal™ antibody”. The product and performance remain unchanged.
Target Information
EpoR encodes the erythropoietin receptor, a member of the cytokine receptor family. Binding of erythropoietin activates Jak2 tyrosine kinase, triggering intracellular signaling pathways such as Ras/MAPK, PI3K, and STAT transcription factors.
Activated EpoR supports erythroid cell survival. Mutations in this gene may cause erythroleukemia or familial erythrocytosis, and dysregulation can influence tumor growth. Multiple transcript variants exist due to alternative splicing.
Diseases associated with EPOR include Erythrocytosis, Familial 1 and Erythroleukemia.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
