Product Specific Information
The GIGD7 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse TIGIT (T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains, also known as VSTM3 or WUCAM), a 26 kDa protein belonging to the poliovirus receptor (PVR) family.
In mice, TIGIT is expressed on follicular T helper cells, while in humans, it is expressed on NK cells, regulatory T cells, follicular T helper cells, memory CD4+ T cells, and CD8+ T cells. TIGIT is not expressed on B cells or naïve CD4+ T cells but is upregulated upon activation.
TIGIT interacts with members of the PVR and PVR-like families (e.g., CD155) and mediates interactions between NK/T cells and antigen-presenting cells, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells expressing PVR-like proteins.

Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes at ≤1 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimal titration recommended.

Target Information
Binds with high affinity to the poliovirus receptor (PVR), leading to increased IL10 and decreased IL12B secretion, suppressing T cell activation by promoting mature immunoregulatory dendritic cell generation.
