Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody HIS57 recognizes an unknown antigen expressed by rat marginal zone B cells. These cells are located in the spleen between the red and white pulp and act as a first line of defense against blood-borne antigens in a T cell-independent manner. They are phenotypically characterized as IgM^high, IgD^low, CD21^high, and CD23^low.

Applications Reported:
This HIS57 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometry and immunohistochemical staining of frozen tissue sections.

Applications Tested:

• Flow cytometric analysis of rat splenocytes: ≤ 0.125 µg/test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).
• Immunohistochemistry of frozen rat tissue: ≤ 10 µg/mL.
  Titrate antibody for optimal performance in each assay.

eFluor™ 660 is a replacement for Alexa Fluor™ 647, emitting at 659 nm and excited with the red laser (633 nm).
Excitation: 633–647 nm; Emission: 668 nm; Laser: Red Laser.
Filtered post-manufacturing with 0.2 µm filter.
