Product Specific Information

MA1-70045 detects alpha/beta TCR in mouse samples.
It has been successfully used in flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry (frozen sections), and Western blot procedures.
The immunogen is affinity purified D0 -11.10 TCR.

Stable at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and freeze unused portions at -20°C in volumes appropriate for single usage. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

T cell receptors (TCR) enable discrimination between foreign and self-peptides presented by MHC class II molecules, which is essential for adaptive immunity.

Autoantibodies to V beta segments of TCRs have been found in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), potentially modulating immune responses.

Most human T cells express TCR alpha-beta along with CD4 or CD8 (single positive, SP), while a small subset lacks both (double negative, DN).
Gamma-delta T cells, mainly found in epithelium, exhibit less TCR diversity and distinct antigen recognition, with subsets showing antitumor and immunoregulatory activity.
