Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select the best production candidates.

Target Information
PBP binds ATP, opioids, and phosphatidylethanolamine, with lower affinity for phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine.
It acts as a serine protease inhibitor that inhibits thrombin, neuropsin, and chymotrypsin but not trypsin, tissue-type plasminogen activator, or elastase.
PBP contains hippocampal cholinergic neurostimulating peptide (HCNP), which may play a role in presynaptic cholinergic neuron function in the central nervous system. HCNP increases choline acetyltransferase production but not acetylcholinesterase.
