Target Information
ROCK1 is a serine/threonine kinase that regulates cell differentiation and migration. The Rho/ROCK pathway is involved in the progression of various human cancers. ROCK1 has been identified as a Caspase-3 substrate and contributes to myosin light chain (MLC) activation through phosphorylation pathways. During apoptosis, ROCK1 is cleaved by Caspase-3, resulting in constitutive kinase activity and membrane blebbing, a hallmark of apoptotic execution.
