MA5-14470 항체는 Prostate Specific Antigen(PSA)을 표적하며 IHC (P), ICC/IF, WB 응용에 적합합니다. Human 시료에서 반응성을 보이나, human colon 및 mouse prostate 조직 절편에는 권장되지 않습니다. Western blot에서 rat 조직과는 반응하지 않습니다.
이 항체의 immunogen은 human PSA의 C-terminus 근처의 합성 펩타이드입니다.
Target Information
PSA(Prostate Specific Antigen)는 전립선 상피세포에서 생성되는 키모트립신 유사 세린 프로테아제(kallikrein family)로, 정액 내에 풍부하게 존재합니다. PSA는 전립선암 환자의 혈청에서 검출될 수 있으며, 주로 간 유래 세린 프로테아제 억제제인 alpha-1-antichymotrypsin(ACT)과 복합체 형태로 존재합니다.
전립선암에서는 양성 전립선 비대증보다 ACT와 결합된 PSA의 비율이 높습니다. PSA는 원발성 및 전이성 암종에서 전립선 선포세포 기원을 확인하고, 비전립선성 암종 모방체를 배제하는 데 사용됩니다.
