The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Glomerular epithelial protein 1 (GLEPP1), also known as protein tyrosine phosphatase U2 (PTPase U2) or receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase O (PTPRO), belongs to the protein-tyrosine phosphatase family.
GLEPP1 is a type I membrane protein containing eight fibronectin type III domains and one tyrosine-protein phosphatase domain. It is expressed primarily in the glomeruli of the kidney, and also detected in placenta, lung, and brain.
