The monoclonal antibody 25F9 recognizes a protein expressed on mature macrophages, both on the cell surface and within intracellular vesicular structures.
Expression correlates with endocytic macrophages and is useful in various disease models.
No expression is found on immature macrophages, monocytes, or other hematopoietic cells.

This antibody has been reported for use in:

• Flow cytometric analysis
• Immunoprecipitation
• Western blotting (WB)
• Immunohistology staining of frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue sections

Applications Tested

Tested by flow cytometric analysis of human macrophages.
Recommended usage: ≤ 0.25 µg per test.
A test is defined as the amount of antibody that stains a cell sample in a 100 µL final volume.
Cell number should be empirically determined (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).
Antibody titration is recommended for optimal assay performance.
