CD122 (Interleukin 2 receptor beta, IL-2Rβ)는 T 세포 매개 면역반응에 관여하며 주로 조혈계에서 발현됩니다.
이 단백질은 세 가지 형태로 존재합니다.
- 저친화성 형태: α 서브유닛 단량체로 신호전달에 관여하지 않음
- 중간친화성 형태: α/β 서브유닛 이합체로 구성
- 고친화성 형태: α/β/γ 서브유닛 삼합체로 구성
중간 및 고친화성 형태 모두 수용체 매개 엔도사이토시스와 증식 신호 전달에 관여합니다.
CD122 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 β 서브유닛이며, Type I 막 단백질입니다.
CD122 단백질 기능 이상은 소수관절형 청소년 특발성 관절염 및 류마티스인자 음성 청소년 특발성 관절염과 관련이 있습니다.
