Product Specific Information
- Reconstitution: Briefly centrifuge vial before opening. Reconstitute in sterile, distilled water to 0.1–1.0 mg/mL. Do not vortex. Store solution at 2–8°C for up to 1 week. For long-term storage, dilute with buffer containing 0.1% BSA and store aliquots at -20°C to -80°C.
- Storage: Lyophilized protein stable at room temperature for 1 month; store at -20°C for long-term, preferably desiccated. Working aliquots with carrier protein stable for ≥10 months at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Target Information
Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CTGF), also known as CCN2, is part of the CCN family. It is a secreted protein from umbilical veins and vascular endothelial cells, containing IGF-binding, thrombospondin type 1, and cysteine knot domains. CTGF plays key roles in chondrocyte proliferation and differentiation, angiogenesis induction, and cell adhesion in fibroblasts, endothelial, and epithelial cells.
