Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select optimal production candidates.

Target Information
Mitochondrial peripheral-type benzodiazepine receptor (PBR), also known as TSPO, is essential in steroidogenesis, mediating cholesterol transport to the mitochondrial inner membrane upon ligand activation.
PBR consists of three subunits: an isoquinoline binding site, a voltage-dependent anion channel, and an adenine nucleotide carrier.
It is genetically conserved across species and widely expressed in peripheral organs, while in the brain it is mainly located in glial cells.
Perfluorodecanoic acid (PFDA) inhibits Leydig cell steroidogenesis by affecting PBR mRNA stability, reducing PBR expression, cholesterol transport, and steroid formation.
PRAX-1 (Peripheral Benzodiazepine Receptor-Associated Protein 1) specifically interacts with PBR.
