ITFG2는 KICSTOR 복합체의 구성 요소로, TORC1 신호 경로의 아미노산 감지 분지에서 기능합니다.
아미노산 비의존적으로 GATOR1 복합체를 리소좀 막으로 유도하여 GATOR2 및 RAG GTPases와 상호작용할 수 있게 합니다.
RAG GTPases 상류에서 작용하며, 아미노산이 없는 조건에서 mTORC1 신호를 음성 조절하는 데 필요합니다.
KICSTOR 복합체가 없을 경우 mTORC1은 지속적으로 리소좀에 위치하며 활성화됩니다.
또한 KICSTOR 복합체는 포도당에 의한 mTORC1 조절에도 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
