Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

FBJ murine osteosarcoma viral oncogene homolog, commonly known as Cellular proto-oncogene Fos (c-Fos), belongs to the Fos transcription factor family and is encoded by the C-FOS gene on chromosome 14.
c-Fos forms a heterodimer with c-Jun to create the Activator Protein-1 (AP-1) transcription factor, which regulates genes involved in cellular signal transduction, proliferation, and differentiation.
c-Fos is phosphorylated by various stimuli including growth factors and insulin at multiple sites. The best-known upstream kinase for phosphorylation at Threonine 232 is ERK MAPK, which controls c-Fos nuclear localization and transcriptional activity.
