BLAST analysis indicates cross-reactivity with Hsp90 from human, mouse, rat, monkey, chicken, and Drosophila based on 100% sequence homology.
Reactivity with other species is unknown.

Target Information

Heat shock proteins (HSPs) are expressed in response to biological stress such as heat.
HSP90 is a 90 kDa protein induced under stress conditions and is abundant even under non-stress conditions.
It associates with intracellular proteins including steroid receptors, actin, tubulin, and various kinases.
HSP90 is essential for maintaining structural integrity of certain steroid receptors, enabling ligand binding during activation.
