Target Information
Cardiac Troponin I(TnI)는 심근 특이적 억제 단백질로, Troponin C(TnC) 및 Troponin T(TnT)와 복합체를 형성하여 근육의 수축 조절에 관여합니다. 칼슘이 TnC에 결합하면 TnI의 억제 부위가 액틴으로부터 해제되어 미오신과의 상호작용을 가능하게 하며, 이는 근육 수축을 유도합니다.
혈중 Troponin I와 T 수준 측정은 심근 손상의 진단 지표로 사용되며, 협심증과 심근경색의 감별에 유용합니다. 또한 Cardiac Troponin I는 혈관신생 억제 기능을 가지며, 유전자 변이는 가족성 비대성 심근병증(CMH7) 및 제한성 심근병증(RCM)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
