Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAGEA9 is a member of the MAGEA gene family. These genes have coding sequences located in the last exon and share 50–80% sequence identity. Promoter and first exon variability suggests differential transcriptional control. MAGEA genes are highly expressed in various tumors but silent in normal tissues except testis and placenta. They are clustered on chromosome Xq28 and may be associated with hereditary disorders such as dyskeratosis congenita.
