Product Specific Information

The 3DS223H monoclonal antibody recognizes human CD223 (LAG-3), a 70-kDa surface glycoprotein in the Ig superfamily with homology to CD4. LAG-3 binds MHC class II with higher affinity than CD4 and is involved in negative regulation of T cell activation and homeostatic proliferation. It is expressed on activated T cells (including regulatory T cells) and NK cells, with CD8+ T cells showing higher expression than CD4+ T cells. Coexpression with CD49b identifies Tr1 regulatory T cells.

• Recommended use: 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test (100 µL final volume)

Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 805 (BUV805) emits at 797 nm and is designed for cytometers with a 355 nm UV laser. Ensure instrument compatibility.

Buffer Recommendations:
When using multiple Brilliant Ultra Violet™, Brilliant Violet™, or polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) or Brilliant Stain Buffer (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.

Fixation Compatibility:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.
BUV805 is compatible with short-term methanol fixation (<1 hour).
