Target Information
IL-16은 다기능성 사이토카인으로 T 세포 활성 조절, 화학주성 유도, HIV 복제 억제 기능을 수행합니다. CD4를 통해 신호 전달되며, 단백질은 프로테올리틱 절단을 통해 두 가지 기능성 단백질을 생성합니다. C-말단 펩타이드가 사이토카인 기능을 담당하고, N-말단은 세포 주기 조절에 관여할 수 있습니다. Caspase 3가 절단 과정에 관여하며, 대체 스플라이싱으로 다양한 전사체 변형이 발생합니다.
