Target Information
ZPBP (also known as ZPBP1) binds to the oocyte zona pellucida and is localized in spermatid and spermatozoon acrosomes. It may play a role in gamete interaction during fertilization. Absence of ZPBP1 can lead to acrosome fragmentation and male sterility in mice.
