Target Information
TMED2는 소포성 단백질 수송에 관여하는 단백질 코딩 유전자입니다. 주로 초기 분비 경로에서 기능하며, post-Golgi 막에서도 역할을 합니다.
TMED2는 수송 소포 내 분비 단백질의 적재를 위한 cargo receptor로 작용하며, 소포 외피 형성에도 관여합니다. COPII 소포 매개 전향성 수송에서는 GPI-anchored 단백질의 수송에 관여하며 TMED10과 함께 작용합니다.
또한 COPI 소포 매개 역행성 수송에서 ARFGAP1의 GTPase 활성 억제를 통해 미성숙한 탈피를 방지하고, cargo 선택이 이루어지도록 합니다.
GPCR 수송에 관여하며, F2RL1, OPRM1, P2RY4의 Golgi–세포막 수송을 조절하여 수용체 재감작에 기여합니다. CASR의 성숙과 안정화에도 관여하며, Golgi apparatus 유지 등 세포 내 막 구조의 조직화에도 중요한 역할을 합니다.
