Target Information

The Rho subfamily of small GTP-binding proteins mediates key cellular functions such as actin reorganization, adhesion, cytokinesis, and motility.
RhoH (also known as TTF or ARHH) differs from other small G proteins by being GTPase-deficient and remaining in an active GTP-bound state.
It is expressed primarily in hemopoietic cells and tissues and may play roles in T-cell differentiation and cytoskeleton organization.
The RhoH/TTF gene maps to chromosome 4p13 and encodes a 191-amino acid polypeptide.
Translocations and mutations of RhoH have been detected in lymphoma cells and activated neutrophils.
