Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MAP2K1 (MEK1) is a dual-specificity protein kinase involved in MAPK signaling cascades that regulate cell growth and differentiation. It is activated by various growth factors, cytokines, and membrane depolarization. Phosphorylation at serine residues 218 and 222 by Raf1 activates MEK1. It plays roles in stress response, apoptosis, and cytokine-induced proliferation. Mutations in MAP2K1 are associated with cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome.
