Product Specific Information
- Reconstitute with 100 µL distilled water to achieve ~1 mg/mL final concentration.

Target Information
The MDM2 protein is the primary regulator of p53 protein stability. MDMX (also known as MDM4) is an MDM2-related protein that inhibits MDM2-mediated degradation of p53 through distinct interactions. The MDMX gene is frequently amplified in malignant gliomas. ARF interacts with MDMX to sequester it within the nucleolus, increasing p53 transactivation. MDMX expression can counteract MDM2-mediated p53 degradation while maintaining suppression of p53 transactivation. Additionally, MDMX binds and stabilizes p73, increasing its half-life in contrast to p53.
