Target Information
Claudin 1–8 단백질은 타이트 정션(tight junction)에 관련된 막관통 단백질군입니다. 타이트 정션은 세포 간 접촉 부위에서 이온, 물 등의 누출을 방지하는 분자적 밀봉 역할을 하며, 상피 세포의 극성을 유지합니다. 조직별로 Claudin 조성이 다르며, 유방암, 난소암, 간세포암, 비뇨기계 종양, 전립선암, 폐암, 두경부암, 갑상선암 등 다양한 악성종양에서 발현 차이가 보고되었습니다. 또한 다양한 아이소폼을 암호화하는 대체 스플라이싱 전사체가 존재합니다.
