MA3-945는 소, 사람, 개, 돼지, 토끼, 쥐의 조직 및 세포에서 calpastatin을 검출합니다. 이 항체는 calpains나 calmodulin과 교차 반응하지 않습니다.
Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry 실험에서 성공적으로 사용되었습니다. Western blot에서는 150, 125, 90, 70 kDa 단백질을 검출하며, 이는 calpastatin 유전자의 다른 시작 부위에서 번역된 단백질로 제안됩니다.
돼지 LLC-PK1 세포에서의 면역형광 염색은 세포질 내 확산된 염색과 약한 핵 염색을 보입니다.
MA3-945의 항원은 소 골격근 calpastatin이며, 인간 calpastatin의 아미노산 잔기 295–501(도메인 II)에 해당하는 epitope을 인식합니다.
Target Information
Calpastatin은 내인성 calpain(칼슘 의존성 시스테인 프로테아제) 억제 단백질로, N-말단 L 도메인과 4개의 반복적인 calpain 억제 도메인(1–4)을 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 amyloid precursor protein의 단백질 분해에 관여하며, 신경 소포의 외포작용, 혈소판 및 적혈구 응집 등 다양한 막 융합 과정에 관여합니다. 또한 구조적 또는 조절 단백질을 암호화하는 유전자의 발현 수준에 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
