Product Specific Information

The DREG-56 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD62L, a 76 kDa member of the selectin family. CD62L is expressed by neutrophils, monocytes, and subsets of T, B, and NK cells. It binds glycosylated, fucosylated, and sulfated sialylated glycoproteins such as CD34, GlyCAM-1, and MAdCAM-1, mediating lymphocyte rolling on activated endothelium and homing to high endothelial venules (HEV) in peripheral lymphoid tissues.

Target Information

Human CD62L (L-Selectin) is a 74–95 kDa glycoprotein, a member of the selectin family of adhesion receptors. It includes:

• Aminoterminal C-type lectin binding domain
• EGF-like domain
• Two short consensus repeat (SCR) sequences
• Transmembrane and cytoplasmic regions

CD62L is constitutively expressed on most leukocytes including lymphocytes (except many memory T cells), monocytes, and polymorphonuclear cells.
