Target Information
CD49f (Integrin alpha-6, ITGA6)는 세포 표면에 존재하는 α6 인테그린 단백질로, α 및 β 사슬로 구성된 인테그린 복합체의 α 사슬을 담당합니다.
α6은 β4와 결합하여 TSP180을 형성하거나 β1과 결합하여 VLA-6을 형성할 수 있습니다.
인테그린은 세포 부착 및 세포 표면 신호 전달에 관여하며, ECM(세포외기질)과 세포골격 사이의 구조적·기능적 연결을 매개합니다.
이 신호 전달은 성장인자 신호와 통합되어 세포 증식, 이동, 생존 등의 반응을 조절합니다.
CD49f는 주로 상피세포에서 발현되며, 헤미데스모좀의 구조적 안정성 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
포유류에서는 18개 이상의 α 사슬과 8개 이상의 β 사슬이 다양한 스플라이스 변형 형태로 존재합니다.
일부 인테그린은 용해성 리간드나 인접 세포의 ICAM과 결합하여 세포 응집을 유도하기도 합니다.
