이 항체는 돼지 아크로신의 다양한 형태(55, 53, 45, 35 kDa)와 반응하는 전형적인 세린 단백질분해효소 특이성을 가진 항체입니다. 아크로신은 손상되지 않은 정자의 아크로솜 내에 저장되어 있습니다.
본 항체는 인간, 개, 소와는 교차 반응하지 않습니다.
면역세포화학(ICC/IF) 실험 시 세포막 투과화(acetone 처리)가 필수적입니다.
Target Information
ACR은 성숙한 정자의 아크로솜 내 주요 단백질분해효소로, 트립신 유사 특이성을 갖는 전형적인 세린 단백질분해효소입니다. 아크로솜 내에서는 전구체 형태인 프로아크로신으로 존재하며, 활성화된 효소는 난자의 투명대(zona pellucida)를 용해시켜 정자가 난자의 당단백질층을 통과할 수 있도록 돕습니다. 프로아크로신 mRNA는 감수분열 이후 단계의 정자형성기에서만 합성되며, 인간에서는 반수체 정자세포에서 처음 발현됩니다.
