Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
UTP14A may be required for ribosome biogenesis. The related gene UTP14C maps to human chromosome 13, which contains over 400 genes including BRCA2 and RB1. Polysomy or trisomy of chromosome 13 (Patau syndrome) is deleterious to development and often fatal, with survivors suffering severe neurological and respiratory complications.
