Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Chromatin assembly factor 1 (CAF-1) is a member of the histone chaperone family. It is required for inheritance of epigenetically determined chromosomal states and promotes chromatin assembly during DNA replication and repair. CAF-1 is a complex of three subunits — p150, p60, and p48 — localized in the nucleus of human cells. Its composition and biochemical activity are conserved among human, yeast, and Drosophila.
