This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates for production.

This antibody has specificity for Human SMPDL3A.
Target Information
SMPDL3A exhibits in vitro nucleotide phosphodiesterase activity with nucleoside triphosphates such as ATP. It also acts on p-nitrophenyl-TMP and CDP-choline, producing CMP and phosphocholine. Lower activity is observed with nucleoside diphosphates, and no activity with monophosphates.
It does not have sphingomyelin phosphodiesterase activity.
