Target Information
DEK is a protein containing one SAP domain. It binds to cruciform and superhelical DNA, induces positive supercoils in closed circular DNA, and participates in splice site selection during mRNA processing. Aberrations or increased expression of DEK, as well as antibodies against this protein, are associated with various diseases.
