Product Specific Information
Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material. After reconstitution, keep aliquots at -20 °C for higher stability, and at 4 °C with an appropriate antibacterial agent. Glycerol (1:1) may be added for additional stability. Avoid repetitive freeze/thaw cycles.

BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor)는 신경영양인자(neurotrophin) 계열 단백질로, pre-proBDNF 형태로 합성된 후 proBDNF로 절단됩니다. proBDNF는 생물학적으로 활성화된 형태이며, 성숙형 BDNF와 함께 시냅스 소포에서 분비됩니다.
BDNF는 중추신경계에 널리 발현되어 신경세포의 생존과 분화를 촉진하며, 기억 형성 및 시냅스 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 주요 수용체는 TrkB이며, 낮은 친화도의 p75-NTR 수용체에도 결합할 수 있습니다.
BDNF 발현은 알츠하이머병과 헌팅턴병 환자에서 감소하며, 스트레스 반응 및 기분 장애의 생물학적 조절에도 관여합니다.
