Product Specific Information

Description:
The 11-26c monoclonal antibody reacts with the delta heavy chain of mouse IgD. It does not cross-react with other mouse immunoglobulin classes (IgA, IgG, IgM). IgD is expressed on peripheral mature B cells, and this clone does not activate B cells.

Applications Reported:
Flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Validated in flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes at ≤ 0.125 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell count may range from 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Optimize titration for best results.

Light Sensitivity:
PE-Cyanine7 tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect vial and stained samples from light.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using:

• IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-822-49)
• 1-Step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54)
  Minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency. Clone-specific performance should be determined empirically.

Excitation / Emission / Laser:
488–561 nm excitation; 775 nm emission; compatible with Blue, Green, and Yellow-Green lasers.

Filtration:
0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

IgD is a type I transmembrane protein co-expressed with membrane IgM on mature naive B cells and also found in soluble form in serum. It associates with the B cell receptor and mediates signal transduction upon antigen binding.
