For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CCL5 (RANTES) is a chemokine gene located on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Chemokines are secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes.
CCL5 functions as a chemoattractant for blood monocytes, memory T helper cells, and eosinophils, and induces histamine release from basophils.
It is one of the major HIV-suppressive factors produced by CD8+ cells and acts as a natural ligand for CCR5, suppressing replication of R5 strains of HIV-1.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Diseases associated with CCL5 include Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 and Periapical Granuloma.
