Product Specific Information
Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also called B7-H1) is a B7 family member that binds to the programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1), negatively regulating T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. Upon ligation, PD-L1 decreases TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 expression is abundant in many murine and human cancers and can be up-regulated by IFN-γ stimulation, suggesting its role in tumor immune evasion.
