Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also known as B7-H1) is a B7 family member that binds to programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1), negatively regulating T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. PD-L1 engagement decreases TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 expression is abundant in many murine and human cancers and is upregulated by IFN-γ stimulation, suggesting its role in tumor immune evasion.
